The short guide to facilitating meetings was based in part on the excellent materials provided by Seeds for Change, who provide training and support to grass-roots organisations campaigning on environmental or social justice issues.
They have invaluable resources on meetings, consensus-decision making, taking action, media communication and much much more. What's more, they're an activist co-op whose work is all anti-copyright, so feel free to use their materials in your own publications.
For all the resources, please see http://www.seedsforchange.org.uk/free/resources.
Seeds for Change also offers training for campaigning groups so this might be an option once you're up and running and looking to develop your group.
Although aimed at sixth form and university groups, the inspiring and detailed group guide of People & Planet might prove useful: http://peopleandplanet.org/fdl/groupsguide09-10.pdf
Friends of the Earth have produced several accessible "how to" guides, covering topics from dealing with the media to reaching a wider audience: http://www.foe.co.uk/community/resource/how_to_guides.html
Campaign Against The Arms Trade (CAAT) also have an excellent local groups guide, packed with information on all things campaigning. http://www.caat.org.uk/getinvolved/local/LocalCampaignsGuide2008.pdf
