The Young Person's Guide to Inequality

The Equality Trust is developing interactive learning materials for 16-19 year olds for the ESRC funded project: Discussing Inequality 

There are currently 12 main projects. The Equality Trust is developing lesson plans and resource guides for teachers and young people around these:

(1) Inequality animations 
(2) Epidemiological data + statistics interactive learning module (and new slides set)
(3) The Inequality / Economies game (Karim Secker)
(4) The Young Person's Guide to Inequality Networks (Mark Wasserberg)
(5) The Spirit Level documentary (due in early 2014), by Dartmouth Films
(6) The Equality Trust Guide to Good Food, Cooking and Sharing 
(7)  The Young Person's Inequality Blog 
(8) The Equality Trust mobile phone application (James Cole)
(9) The A41 Photography project (Colin McPherson)

Coming soon: digital resource guides, testing the materials and launch plans. 

We are applying for funding to extend the project into the next year for a Community Outreach Manager to further promote and develop use of the materials.
