Help shape the Compass alternative manifesto

Compass are inviting contributions to their alternative manifesto.

They ask for responses of around 200 words to each of three questions:

  • If you could choose to change one thing in your life what would it be? Things like getting to know your neighbours. What would you like to control that you can't? What would changing this one thing mean to you?
  • We know that social relationships are important to people so we want to know what the best thing is about your local community – is it your local skate park or the church cake sale? Why does this matter to you?
  • Finally, we all spend an enormous amount of time working – but we really often have very little say over our workplace or our working lives. If you could do one thing, any one thing, to improve your working life what would it be and why?

Send your answers to Compass by 11 December...

...and if a more equal society, workplace democracy or any other equality-related issues feature, then please email kathryn.busby@equalitytrust.org.uk  and I will post a selection of responses on the blog. (These can be anonymous if you're shy!)
