This ESRC studentship willl include a yearly stipend (currently £13,290), as well as course fees and research expenses. The stipend will be based on 2010/2011 research council rates. The successful applicant will participate in the PhD Programme in Health Sciences at the University of York and will be supervised by Professor Kate Pickett, potentially in collaboration with members of INIRCH (the International Collaboration for Research on Child Inequalities in Health).
