Exploring Equality - the Swedish cycling is coming to an end

Photo of bikeAn update from Steve and Hacon, the intrepid cyclists riding over a thousand miles in Sweden and Norway to experience life in a more equal society.

After over a month in Scandinavia their journey is coming to an end. Steve give us all the latest news...

Interviews

Our three latest interviews have seen a History Professor telling us he thinks rising inequality is inevitable:

Katherina telling us of how she first saw poverty when she went to Ireland in her 20s

And Cecilia talking to us about how equality in Sweden extends to gender and the importance of giving paternity rights to fathers

Coming soon

We've got two bumper interviews coming up - with entertaining Swede/American professor Lars, who has lived in the US for 30 years so knows how to compare the two countries! And Kaj Torok, an expert in social trust, discussing why trusting each other is the key to a better society.

We're heading to Malmo this weekend, before catching the train home on the 16th September. But our blog interviews and our final thoughts and reflections on how the UK could learn from the Swedish experience will be uploadaed until the 23rd, at which point we'll retire to edit a short film of 'best' and unseen footage (and look for a job...boo). Hopefully you'll be able to see it at our screening sometime soon!
