This is an interim position created to cover an existing officer’s extended leave, the post will run for three months from early January.
We are looking for someone with an intersectional feminist analysis/understanding of gender inequality. The Equality Trust is leading on delivering a major campaign to highlight awareness of the failure of major companies to adhere to the legal obligations to pay men and women equally. With the 50th anniversary of the passage of the Equal Pay Act 1970 taking place next May, we are keen to use the opportunity to build a movement that will persuade, or force employers to reconsider their pay structures and commit to gender equality.
