Emma Marks

Emma Marks is our Senior Local Groups Organiser (outside of London). She has 20 years of experience working within Health and Social Care settings, most recently working on the mental health anti-stigma campaign “Time To Change” as the West Midlands Regional Coordinator for Mind. She has an MA in Social Work and in Arts, Health and Wellbeing.

Dr Sara Bailey

Sara joined The Equality Trust in February 2021 to run participatory research projects on COVID-19 and young people's employment rights. Sara holds a PhD in the sociology of human rights from the University of Essex’s Human Rights Centre, where she conducted research into the extent to which economic and social rights can tackle structural socio-economic inequalities.

Jenny MacLaren

Jenny is our Administrative Assistant and joined us in February 2021. She has worked in the violence against women and children’s sector in Scotland and has an MSc in Equalities and Human Rights. Jenny lives on the Isle of Eigg where she also works for the NHS as a Rural Healthcare Support Worker.

Jo Wittams

Jo is part-time Finance and Operations Manager for the Equality Trust, having previously worked at The Judith Trust. Jo is also a Breastfeeding Counsellor and holds an MSc in Gender Studies.
